Here is one of Ralph's best early LPs, recorded on the Michigan Jessup label in 1971. At this time, Ralph had to shuffle the lineup in his band after the departure of Melvin Goins and Larry Sparks. Here, he enlists the aid of 16 year olds Ricky Skaggs and Keith Whitley for the first time on record. Singing lead and playing rhythm guitar is Roy Lee Centers, whose voice was remarkably similar to Ralph's late brother Carter. Ralph adds his own high lonesome vocals and three fingered banjo to ten new originals on this LP.
